Banners!

Okay all you brides & other folks planning events…whether it be a wedding, engagement party, shower, homecoming, sweet 16 or even sweeter 100th birthday…you need a banner! Banners have come a loooonnnnnggg way since the cardboard & tissue paper fold out ones sold in the streamer section of your favorite pharmacy. With so many options to choose from, most of them being DIY (I am all about some DIY), banners are a beautiful detail that are simple to make (but look like you broke a sweat). For an easy DIY you can take basically anything and turn it  into a banner – burlap, scrapbook paper, newspaper, maps, ribbons, scrap fabric, and even photos! If you want a pre-made banner then check out Michaels in the scrapbook and bridal sections. Etsy offers some very unique and customizable ones – you can choose colors, names, dates, fabric…the options are endless. Here are some of my faves collected from Pinterest. (I totally didn’t get the credits for each individual photo, shame on me. I’ll blame it on excitement. I promise to do better next time) I personally am loving the burlap with stamps, lace doilies and confetti streamers.
