Your wedding day is sure to be a whirlwind of events so follow my tips & suggestions to make it flow smoothly, minimize confusion & maximize photo time so that everyone has a fantastic experience.
I have provide a sample timeline that is built for the perfect amount of photography coverage & assumes you are doing a first look/bridal party photos prior to the ceremony, but it can be easily tailored to fit your day. We need plenty of daylight after the ceremony so plan accordingly. Other than having enough light, the main thing to keep in mind is that the more time for photos the better! Getting as many photos done prior to the ceremony is ideal (bride & groom, bridal party, family) so that we have plenty of daylight-plus you & your new Mr. or Ms. can get the party started quicker! The larger the family picture list, the longer family portrait time will take too, cutting into photo time with your honey and gettin’ your dance on. So, if you don’t want to do photos earlier you will need to build in enough time after the ceremony to cover family, bridal party, bride & groom -expect to arrive to the reception later because combined it can at least an hour and a half. I’m always glad to help my couples develop a timeline so please ask!
