Kelly + Todd’s wedding was as bright & cheerful as the two of them are. Taking place on the grounds of the incredibly gorgeous Ceresville Mansion in Frederick, Maryland the details of the day were infused with the couples personality from the cheery citrus & teal hues to the cake topper featuring their beloved pets to the super awesome playlist complete with some of my favorite 80’s & 90’s tunes (Bon Jovi & Whitney Houston!) and the late night sliders & wings. The bouquets definitely go down as a fave of mine for the lush full flowers with the best smell that filled the air! (Freesia being the secret ingredient). Kelly’s engagement ring is crazy beautiful and designed by a very talented jeweler, who also happens to be her father. And those Superman cufflinks? A wedding gift to Todd to compliment his Captain America grooms cake. The outdoor ceremony beautifully told the story of how Kelly + Todd met at just the right time & right place. There were many instances where they could have easily crossed paths throughout the years but didn’t…until they were meant to. It was a true account that everything happens for a reason, bringing us to the point where we are supposed to be when we are supposed to be there. Such a unique day that really reflected Kelly + Todd’s relationship & super fun personalities – you two seriously ROCK!
I am so thankful to have met Kelly & Todd to not only have the honor of photographing their engagement & wedding, but to call them new friends. I hope you two have a fabulous honeymoon adventure on the Alaskan cruise!
