As bittersweet as it is, I am launching a new blog tomorrow that is dedicated solely to Ashley Goodwin Photography. It has been absolutely incredible to work alongside my sister (she’s totally the business savvy one!) but since I am moving to Hawaii in October and she is continuing to pick up clients in Virginia, it only makes sense for me to have my own blog. Don’t want to send Sarah’s boss into a panic thinking she moved to Hawaii! 😉 We will be photographing select weddings together next summer (so if you are interested let us know!) but for the most part I will be focusing on my clients until I move out the the great island of Oahu! Wahoo! Having Sarah as a partner has been a blessing. Sure, we may consistently be warding off wedding guests who are convinced we are twins (we’re not, I swear! But yes, you are correct, we are from the Hanes family) but I credit her for our thriving business. If it wasn’t for her balance of business and booking us majority of our weddings, I don’t know if I would be so gung-ho to get on track to being my own wedding photographer! I am excited to jumpstart my brand now so I can go at it in Hawaii, and for Sarah and I to continue to help each other grow in our own businesses. Can’t wait to see what she is going to do, she’s taking over VA, ya’ll! But look out, I plan on owning Hawaii…and Maui…and Kauai…and then head on back over to the mainland and start owning everywhere. 😉
All of my posts from Goodwin Girls are currently posted to my new blog, AshleyGoodwinBlog.com, so make sure you save it in your feed! Over there I will be posting my lastest work, fact videos, lessons learned, and a weekly Wednesday feature. 🙂 Tomorrow, Wednesday, June 1st, is my last day at Lucy and Company and the first day as a full-time photographer, so it’s only fitting to “launch” with a new post then! Check it out, and make sure you head over tomorrow…I mayyyy just be celebrating in style and giving something away.
Love ya’ll x 100thousandmillion.

Thanks Mom, for Facebook tagging me in these. (That was total sarcasm, if you didn’t catch it).
Keep checking out Goodwin Girls, as Sarah plans to revamp but still keep it rockin’.
