It’s here! The “30 days to the altar” wedding came & went this weekend. I am still recovering. After 4 weeks of whirlwind wedding planning everything came together smoothly due to the fact that we had some of the best workers pulling together, running their butts off (up and working by 6am!) to make it all happen. Amanda said it was her dream wedding, better than she imagined. SCORE! I wasn’t the photographer – that would have probably killed me right then and there being that designing, decorating & coordinating a wedding is a full-time job within itself, as is being the wedding photographer. Amanda & every other bride deserves a photographer (and planners) undivided attention, so as much as I would have love to photograph the wedding it just wasn’t possible. Luckily she had a photographer there to capture the day-but you know the photographer in me (& the proud designer in me) had to grab some shots of our hard work & the super cute details! Practically everything was handmade with items collected from backyards, attics, basements, sheds, “junk shops” & the woods behind my house!
(I’ll do a post soon on finalizing the details, tips & tricks for keeping within you wedding budget, choosing vendors, coordinating the day, pros/cons, and pulling it all together).
