the PROCESS

initial contact

Clients reach out either via the contact form/email or through their wedding planner. I create a custom quote, along with information for review, based on your unique wedding day celebration.

CONSULTATION & reserve the date

We can set up a consult by video or phone chat to get to know each other, talk about your plans, work together to customize a collection that is perfect for you, and answer any questions. To reserve your date, a digital contract and invoice are sent and completed.

ENGAGEMENT SESSION

This comes with a delivery of my style guide and wedding magazine to help you plan and prep! We also get to know each other a little better, making you more comfortable in front of the camera on your wedding day.

PLANNING & LOGISTICS

I help guide you through the process leading up to the wedding and work with your planner to build a photography schedule based on the variables of the day. I happily provide referrals & resources for great vendors.

YOUR WEDDING DAY

Let's get this party started! I'll be there every step of the way to capture your day as authentically and joyfully as it unfolds - a balanced mix of both candid and effortlessly posed memories. Whether it's a moment you need a calming voice, a hype woman, or wrangling the wedding party, I got you.

have you photographed at our venue?

I have visited countless venues throughout Virginia and beyond, and whether I’ve worked at a venue or not, I always am prepared to scout photo locations and discuss logistics with the planner.

what is your pricing?

Because each celebration is unique, quotes are customized to account for variables like the type and scope of coverage needed. As a point of reference, full day coverage begins at $4,000.

Absolutely. I know that loved ones travel from near and far to celebrate with you, some seeing each other for the first time in many years. Sometimes the images will be posed, other times candid.

My style is a blend of effortlessly posed and photojournalistic candids. My focus is to capture the day organically and authentically. This means I am always paying attention to detail, while carefully anticipating moments and emotions - from the getting ready details to the ceremony, family and couples portraits, through the reception. I want your photos to take you back to that day, to remember and often see for the first time, emotions and moments of you and your loved ones.

how long have you been a photographer?

Twelve years ago I decided to turn my love for photography and creativity into a way to serve others. It's been the best decision.

what equipment do you use and are you insured?

I use Canon digital equipment and have an array of cameras, lenses, flashes and accessories to ensure I am ready for every type of moment. I have insurance, which is often required by venues.

how do we secure your services?

Once you have decided on your collection, I will prepare a contract for review & you return the signed contract and retainer within 5 business days to secure your date. The remaining balance is due 30 days prior to your wedding date.
